Because Real-Life Lessons Are Not In Textbooks

I read Aadhya's short expression about the workshop that she wrote on her own today. I liked it so much. Aadhya is so overwhelmed, like wings of happiness coming from her. Your work and words motivate her. Keep up your hard work. Also, I appreciate the whole team of Local Gyan for an energetic and engaging workshop for all the children.

I simply loved the planning and execution- telling the girls to find out answers to a set of questions from their parents before the session started set the right tone. The girls love anything that involves them to think, interact and come up with answers. The enthusiasm and friendly approach of the Local Gyan team were amazing. Activities and models brought, drove home the aim of the session more effectively than any 2-hr session of lecture could have. All of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Hats off to Team Local Gyan. She's been thoroughly excited and joyful about her learning experience, and we genuinely appreciate the effort you and your team have put into designing such a meaningful program. What stands out most is the thoughtfulness in the way the camp is structured-the themes, the topics, and the teaching approach. For instance, the first day's activity, which encouraged children to learn about their roots and local history, left a deep impression on all of us. Mayra calling her grandparents to understand more about her family's past not only made them feel special but also sparked meaningful conversations at home. It's rare to see such a well-thought-out concept in a short camp format. Helping children connect with their surroundings before introducing them to the larger world is such a powerful step, and you've delivered that beautifully. I wanted to take some time to talk about this amazing workshop my son attended this week. Kudos to Local Gyan for an amazing and inspiring workshop. Thank you for putting this thought into our kids that we need to save water... Every day after the workshop, he had a lot of questions regarding his own water use at home - if he was wasting water or not. What made the entire workshop a success was introducing a topic and adding a lot of fun elements and facts so that the kids could connect well, and it was not complicated or boring. He genuinely looked forward to each session. Hoping to attend more workshops like this in the future.
